The result was Kano X2, a chair designed to stand out in high, performance professional environments and become a global benchmark in task seating.

From vision to execution: The making of Kano X2

The Kano X2 chair was born from the shared vision of Kano and Alegre Design to create a task chair capable of enhancing the everyday work experience without compromising on efficiency or accessibility. In a global context where workspaces are evolving toward more flexible, hybrid, and wellness-oriented models, the challenge was to design a chair that could meet these new demands with intelligence, style, and technical precision.

The objective was clear: to develop an ergonomic, functional, and visually balanced chair that could integrate naturally into any contemporary professional environment and adapt to different user profiles without complex adjustments. We aimed to create a solution that not only met technical requirements, but also conveyed quality, modernity, and attention to detail , fully aligned with Kano’s international ambition and commitment to innovation.

Throughout the process, Alegre Design carefully refined the visual integration of all ergonomic elements, eliminating exposed mechanisms and opting for a clean, fluid, and coherent design that enhances both the chair’s aesthetic appeal and its intuitive functionality.
